Default Need help with PSP.

Ok I just picked up a PSP-3000 and for all of you who follow my talk on here, I was looking forward to getting a PSP Go I still might but this deal was pretty awesome I got on this brand new PSP 3000. Anywho I have owned PSP's before and even hacked a few of them. I might be stupid but I followed the steps to try to put video on the PSP but am having ZERO luck.

I started the PSP with the USB cable attached. Went to USB mode. From there I created a folder in the PSP folder MP_ROOT from there I created a sub folder inside that one called 100MNV01. I downloaded a couple movies from gamespot and trailers in their lowest res, as well as movies from dailypspmovie.com. I drop the movies in the 100MNV01 folder they are all .mp4. When I get out of USB mode and click on video it says. "There are no videos available to watch. blah blah blah consult you manual." I either don't have the right resolution which I am pretty sure a few of them were in fact correct resolutions. But nothing will even come up on my psp. Any help would be great! I have put video on the PSP before but I thought you needed to create a PSP>VIDEO folder? atleast that is what I remember I just did a google search and it has me doing this MP_ROOT thing. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks guys!
