I thought I was in the middle of a session of the United Nations debating some environmental issues.

I remember hearing some holophonic audio samples many years ago, I think this would be awesome for video games, for movies it's probably not too ideal since everyone would require headphones. But for games and maybe portable movies for an ipod or other video capable device this would be amazing.

I had to tease you a little. I listened. It was fun. They could have cut the first 5 minutes of the show and concentrated on the last 5 minutes.

Sounded like crap. Youtube just mangled the sound too much.

...idk, maybe i'm terrible with audio or my headphones just suck but i don't get what's so great about it. Doesn't sound like anything special to me. Good find nonetheless, maybe a better example will come out for noobs like me to really get the full effects of it. They should do like a 15-20 sec example of regular audio used now and then the same 15-20 sec video with the holographic sound so it's easier to tell the differences. BTW i'm using Beyerdynamic DT880 headphones if you were curious.

This recording is better. This is also a pretty cool demo.

Yeah I have a HQ FLAC rip of Us and Them that I use as demo material in my HT. Really trips my friends out when I throw it on for them then tell them after they've been listening in 2 ch mode.
