It's Friday Nite - I want to watch a movie! - Blu-ray Forum

So here's the situation...

It's about 7pm and my dinner is just about ready. I would like to enjoy watching a movie tonight (maybe 2), but I can't seem to make up my mind on the one to choose. I've been listening to music all afternoon, so no concert BD's tonight.

Have a look at my collection and give me your recommendations....

I would look at Quantum of Solace first(short movie) then The Prestige or Taken..

American Psycho, I had forgotten just how psycho he was,
and has good PQ and a great DTS HD audio track.

Seriously, though. You've got an amazing musical collection of Blus; definitely the best I've ever seen. You already ruled out a music title, though, so never mind that...

I could see you slipping into a Die Hard or two. If you want to just grab dinner and zone out, go with Planet Earth!

I just saw Defiance (trapped at home by inclement weather...hail much? Damn So Fla) - definitely loved it - my biggest complaint came from being a history nerd - Machinenpistole 40s weren't held by the magazine! Aaaaarghhh!!!

What did you end up deciding on?
