Default Rescue ME SEASON 3 outstanding TV series ever made in High Definition

link:

http://www.hometheaterspot.com/fusio...hp?tid/137420/

Video:"
"Warner’s release of Smallville on HD DVD, left me discouraged that nothing had changed. They were still trying to fit too much on a single disc, resulting in some of the worst examples of bit starvation I’ve seen to date. And resolution was grossly inconsistent.

But, I was almost shocked to see what Sony has done for Rescue Me. Where Smallville tried to squeeze four to five episodes onto a 30GB disc, Rescue Me is content with no more than three episodes on 50GBs. Disc one actually has four, but the other three discs in this set restrain themselves even further, all allowing Sony to author the discs with the same high AVC bit budgets that we’ve seen from their movies. Put another way, Warner compressed 22, 45 minute episodes into 150GBs of space for Smallville on HD DVD. Sony compressed only 13 episodes into 200GBs with Rescue Me on BD. It doesn’t take a critical eye to see that the “superbit” philosophy pays off. This is without a doubt the best cared for home video release of a TV show, I’ve ever seen. "

Thanks CHAD and this is another preview from technical view and with facts why HD-DVD is a looser Format.

Enjoy it My Friends who and which loves only BD.

I'am getting it tonight, i can check the back of the box for you.

I know the release have : DD5.1 English, PCM 5.1 English and French DD5.1. Here in Québec/Canada it's weird because the DVD edition don't have any French on it. Same thing for Casino Royale, the Bluray have DD5.1 in French and only Stereo Surround on the DVD

Sony is showing some love for people down here who watch film dubbed..

Just checked mine and the there is a region A symbol on the back of the case. I'm a huge fan of the show and it looks great, blu ray really brings out the gritty look of the show

Hopefully my copy will arrive tomorrow from Amazon. I re-watched seasons 1 & 2 over the past couple of weeks and need to watch season 3 by next Wednesday when season 4 opens on F/X. Great show

I only got to check out the first few minutes today. The first ep interior scene is pretty grainy as is the opening (intentionally) but once past that it looks pretty slick.

I bought this for my mother (she has my old Samsung player). Her first comment was "what, season 3? C'mon, gimme season 1!"

Once she saw it on my 70" XBR2 however, all was forgiven...

So Sony, please, S1 and S2. My life may depend on it.

Need your alls opinion, I got hooked on a few episodes a while back when I was on a tv binge. Then I got caught up with life and did not watch tv for the longest time.

I thought the show was great. However, is it worth the purchase of S3? Is S1 and 2 just as good?

Default here's the answer!

thanks everybody for your help.
i decided to take a chance and ordered it from amazon, got it, and even though the back of the cover does say "A", it played perfectly in my region B blue-ray player, which leads me to think that maybe they just CLAIM to region-code these discs for legal or strategic reasons, but in reality they're region-free.

thanks again,
paolo

Word of warning. If you have not seen Season 3 yet, do not read the insert. Gives synopsis for each episode and ruins alot.
