Trouble with Transformers.... - Blu-ray Forum

I just got my Transformers BD from Best Buy yesterday and i just put it in to watch it, and its skipping, it pauses and then continues. WHATS GOING ON!!! This also happened with the X-Men trilogy, but i exchanged it with another copy and its now fine, Transformers isnt a new release so it should need a firmware update right? My Sony BD-350, is updated on all firmware. What should i do?

go to BB and exchange for the new one. Maybe the disc itself screw up.

Go and watch the exchange one, if it skipp again, you should check your BD player.

It works fine now, i was trying to connect to BD live and the disk was in the tray for a while, maybe that screwed it up a little. It would skip in the beginning, where the Paramount Logo would show up. Its working fine now. Hopefully it wont skip again, ill watch it all and see what happens.

I've had a few instances of skipping with my BDP-S350 too. I have the firmware updated to the most current and the same blu's work fine in my PS3. Its become rather clear to me that the S350 is cheaply made, but I got it free so I'm not complaining. Luckily I also have the PS3.

Transformers played perfectly fine on my S350 and all my other blu rays. No skipping or freezing at all. However, base on some members, the skipping seems to be due to BD live features. Since I don't use BD-live that is probably why I never experience any problems.

just got done checking out bd-live on the disc to look at the new movies clips. no issues at all.
