Inkheart Announced for Blu-ray Release

New Line Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring the Brendan Fraser fantasy film 'Inkheart' to Blu-ray on June 23rd, day-and-date with the DVD release. Video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p VC-1 accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.
Is this any good or not?

We saw it in the theater. It's not bad. It's not what I thought it would be, but overall it's a decent kid's/fantasy movie. I think it's unique in that it's fantasy that takes place "in the real world" kind of like Spiderwick Chronicles. Decent performances from everyone though Andy Serksis got on my nerves a little bit.

I got my copy today, and I would like to remind everyone that this is a 3-disc set: Blu, Digital Copy, & DVD

also comes with a slipcover.

I am ordering it from Amazon. Loved the movie, right up my alley sort of speak, should look very sweet on BD

I thought the video transfer was pretty good, not excellent.
The audio was strong as well, this is a dialogue driven film at points and fantasy at times so It does a good job at delivering consistancy.

BTW, the DVD & the Digital Copy are both on the same disc.
So In reality we get 2 discs.
