Default The 1 thing you should have thought twice about!!!

I thought it would be cool to start a thread so people can say what mistakes they have made,For instance buy the wrong speakers or whatever it can be anything. For me it would be a Mistake im still living with today ,When I turned 18 it was time for my first car because I didnt listen and I was hard headed I wanted a really nice car I went with a new 06 Dodge Charger.of corse I didnt have any credit so they offered it to me at 12% and after hearing my mom and dads lecture what did I do I bought the dam car.So now Iam paying about 34,000 for a 25,000 car.

You shouldn't regret anything in life. Everything we do has consequences and it's something we grow to learn from.

But if you really wanna know, I regret not going to college.

My biggest regret in life...

Never getting a chance to spend more time with my Dad before he passed away.

Although I'm happy with how it ended up, I wish I had gone to the University of Iowa rather than a smaller college. I spent many weekends in Iowa City and think I would have enjoyed going to school there. I just don't think I enjoyed my college experience as much as I should have. However, like I said I am happy with my career and I doubt I'd have ended up with this job if I'd gone to a different school.

i regret buying a brand new car when i was 19 instead of just keeping the one i had @ the time and just buying a motorcycle.

While I try to maintain the 'no regret' thing, I have one...

- Not attending Lollapalooza 2008.

Just another reminder to go with my gut when picking things to do though, so not really a regret but a lesson.

Easy: buying my current house.

My only regret. And I have no qualms about having regrets.

I also regret buying the cheapest laptop at the store for college. Man, Toshiba laptops are pure s***. My replacement is even in s***-shape and I have to send it in to get fixed. Pathetic, I should have gotten the Dell for $300 more.

Any chance we can skip all the "hey man you can't go through life regretting things" posts? That's a great mantra, but it's been said.

Now let's hear some good regrets!

I thought of another thanks to O.E.: the laptop I bought for law school. What a piece of crap. Battery stopped working. Replacement battery didn't work. Power connection busted so that if the cord wiggled even a little, the whole thing would shut down. Had to format and rebuild countless times (usually right around finals time). Made the loudest damn noise you could imagine. Classmates would look at me like it was going to explode. I wish it would've.

Not going to the 1988 Monsters Of Rock tour. Van Halen, Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions and Kingdom Come.beavisnbutthead.gifTotally_jammin_out.gif

Had a free ticket, but I was a 17 yr old kid in high school and my parents didn't have my outlook on life.

Mine would be not accepting an offer to go rough diamond buying in Africa when I was working for DeBeers in London. It would have been a great experience and very lucrative, but my personal life at the time made it very difficult. Oh well

It was finals week my junior year, and all my teachers were going to work with me on my exams. But my parents didn't see things my way. That's OK though. When it's time to put them in a home it's going to be like the one in Happy Gilmore.

I regret going to college (student loans, job competetion, etc...)...I should have went to a trade school (you will always need to build more homes, fix things, ext.....) and then I could build my own dedicated Home Theater with little help from anyone else too!

We've all taken the Blue Pill at some point or another. I think it's mostly a fear issue, but that's just me. I've taken the red pill with filmmaking. I don't regret that. I decided at the age of 4 that I wanted to make movies. I've stuck with it for almost 16 years.

Wow.

My only college-related "regret" is not staying longer!
