Logitec MX 5000 question. - Blu-ray Forum

I bought this new keyboard and mouse and got it to work fairly quickly. The mouse connects right away even after I restart the PS3. The keyboard on the other hand doesn't. I have to re-register it and type in that pin each time I turn on the PS3. I'm not using the reciever that came with it, only for the initial setup as stated in the instructions. Is there away to not have to re-register the keyboard? I'm I doing something wrong?
