Default DBX discs

Anyone remember DBX encoded discs that came out near the end of vinyl's reign? As an "old fart" I must admit that I still love the sound of records (and the sound of reel to reel tape more), but the best sound still comes from the handful of DBX encoded discs I have in my collection.

Although I'm an admitted "old fart" myself, I can't say that I remember DBX. I never got away from vinyl and kept buying and buying, even after it's apparent demise.

Can you provide more details or examples?

John

I don't recall that either. A friend of mine had a DBX noise filtering box, but as far as DBX records, I too am stumped.

Michael Fremer would know. Where is that guy when you need him.
