Replacing Speakers - Blu-ray Forum

Being in college dosen't allow for the best equipment, but I'm slowly replacing the speakers that came with my 5.1 Sony HT-SS2300 to get some better sound while using the PS3 for blu rays. I ordered some Sony SS-B1000 speakers yesterday. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...52921665191299
Has anyone purchased these, and if so how are they.

Welcome to the site Sergio

I used to use them as surrounds, and they are good for surrounds, if they are going to be fronts then I suggest the B3000s personally.

I have the same surround speakers and I second this.

Hey thank guys, yeah i am planning on using them as surrounds. And yes the B3000s were what i had my eyes on next.

The CN5000 will match these pretty well for a center channel.
