Default Is this Samsung any good??

55" 120hz LCD, model LN55C630K1F

Paid $1709 at BB, it was this or a 46" Sony Bravia LED $1399. I went with the Sammy for the picture size but as far as quality goes, how much did I lose out on the LED?

Thanks.

In my opinion you didn't lose anything by choosing conventional LCD over and edge-lit LED lcd. With all the buzz about how there's so much light bleed from the edges that detracts from the viewing experience I'd still pick a c630 lcd over and edge lit set anyday. I was actually considering upgrading to the same set you scooped up. The only other option would be if you could find a full array backlit LED Lcd like a sammy 8500 but they can be priced double what you paid for the 630. cheers dude
