Default Michael Jackson Ultimate 32 DVD+1CD

Take a look at this and tell me if this can be real. If you Google it, you will find a lot of results for it, but I'm having a hard time believing this is real and not 32 DVD-R's.

On the 2nd link, the details say Sony as the label. But I don't recall any official release stressing that their release is Region Free and WILL work on any DVD player.

My guess is that they're fake. The price kind of gives it away. If this was any sort of legitimate/authorized collection, it'd cost at least a few hundred $.

That's not to say it's not worth buying though.

Also, there are a few videos on YouTube that contain pictures of it, and the discs are different in the two videos I watched, which seems a bit fishy.

The concert videos are probably the same stuff you would find on YouTube or anywhere else, and printed onto a DVD.

Yeah I thought they were fake to. I wouldn't mind paying more as long as they're real discs.

I'm sure its fake. I got sopranos season 6 part 1 about 6 months early because of an ebay auction (paid 150 lol) only to find they weren't legit but the quality was about as good as sd tv and I really enjoyed having them. but the packaging on both looks just like how my sopranos did.

Well, let me tell you, I'm a thorough researcher and the last weeks,
if not months, I've been going through a lot of Michael Jackson's (official) releases.
And those boxes didn't cross my path on the web once.

Besides that, I found out that there is quite little of Michael Jackson on DVD.
Some great works have never even been released on DVD.
The only big collection and closest to a DVD-collection I've seen for his releases was this box with singles.
Those were actually CD/DVDs, double-sided, but only hit-singles with their videos.

I also just noticed the titles on the pages of the links you posted.
If you see all those 'HIStory'-shows, those are probably all recorded from TV.
They have never been officially released, you can download them all.
As they're all free TV-rips anyway, so...

I'd stay away from those, the quality would probably be disappointing.
At least less than expected, unless they were broadcast and recorded in the best quality possible.
That is, at the time whenever they were broadcast, which was I'm pretty sure at least 5+ years ago.

The DVD set the OP linked to has been around long before MJ died.
