I picked a side - Blu-ray Forum

hey hows it going everyone.
well first off i have been trying to decide which way to go in the format wars and after doing reachers and looking around on this site i finally made my decision and went with bluray. i picked up a PS3 yesterday and i have to say i was not disappointed at all i totally love it, best decision ive made in a long time. picked up the POTC 1&2, enemy of the state, dejavu, the gaurdian and gone in 60 seconds and for games got rfom. i spent the rest of the day watching movies and play the game. the pq is so sweeeettttt. just want to say thanks for having a site with so much info, it really helped me make my decision.

As I tell everyone around me the PS3 is the best CE device I've ever owned in my life...and at this price it's an absolute steal.

Best thing is you just keep discovering how deeply they thought it through the more you use it...10 years? Easy IMO..every previous console has been a toy in comparison.

I agree, the PS3 is the best electronic i have ever bought. It's just jam packed with so many features. It's such a power house for multimedia.

Not only will you be playing great new next gen games, and Blu Ray movies, but you have a plethora of older games to play AND have upconversion for any Standard Def DVD as well. Welcome aboard and congrats for picking a great console.
