Default Coffin Joe Movies

Has anyone else caught these movies? The last one, Embodiment of Evil is out on blu in UK, but the earlier ones from 1967 are hard to find. For Brazilian movies, they are unique. I caught the second one, Tonight Ill posess your corpse, on IFC last night. Im hooked. I usually dont dig underground horror, but this was creepy, even for 1967. He feeds 4 women to a pit of snakes, cool.

Love the long fingernails.

I saw them ages ago on IFC myself. It was part of the "IFC GRINDHOUSE" nights which were on Wednesdays, I believe. I miss the IFC channel.

Friday nights are great on IFC, and they segue into Saturday morning Samurai films. Great channel. I like the Coffin Joe movies too. A couple have some really creepy looking scenes and I consider myself pretty much immune to most anything creeping me out.

I DVR'd that last night too but haven't watched it yet. Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures was on IFC a couple of months ago. A bit strange but I liked it.

Looks like Anchor Bay UK is also releasing The Coffin Joe collection on the same day as Embodiment of Evil BD/DVD. The Collection is DVD only but it's got all 9 other Coffin Joe movies on 5 discs. Bad news is that the DVDs are PAL and Region 2 (region B for the BD). Hopefully Anchor Bay US releases them here, otherwise I might have to import them. Good thing I have a region free PAL/NTSC dvd player.
