Two Eastwood movies I would love on Blu - Blu-ray Forum

I am a big Clint Eastwood fan (as I know some others on here are also) so allow me to bring up my two favorite Eastwood movies that I would love to see a Blu-ray release of.

If you count buying these two movies on iTunes (to watch on my iTouch) then a Blu-ray release would be a triple-dip for me (I already own them on DVD and iTunes).

Namely, the Alistair MacLean actioner "Where Eagles Dare" (1968) and the Craig Thomas thriller "Firefox" (1982).

I find both these movies highly entertaining and though "Where Eagles Dare" is more a Richard Burton movie than an Eastwood movie its still a fun ride. I also own the books for both movies so I think my fan geek credentials are all in order.

Anyway, hopefully these movies find thelr way onto Blu-ray soon.

Wb;s noted in their last online chat at home theatre forum last year... they said Where Eagles Dare may be released on BD in 2010 so hopefully they will release more titles of Eastwood at that time.

Wow. That would be great.

I know that it was a long wait for the movei to make it to DVD and (working in my roile as an entertainment reporter at the time), I made several calls to studios to ask about it, but, with its great Bavarian scenery and rousing soundtrack the movie would seem perfect for a Blu-ray release.

Of course the more Eastwood on Blu-ray the better.

"Escape from Alcatraz" would be great...... Nothing holds a candle to "Space Cowboys" though (only kidding)
