Default Cable TV

I have question. When I watch movies from my cable provider it seems that the bass is really loud and the dialogue is really quite. Does anybody else have this issue? It’s kind of annoying. When I watch a movie on my blu ray player I don’t have this issue.

I'm hoping to see if there is something I can do to help improve the sound quality.

I'm sure your Denon could help you matrix the audio to your liking better than what you have now. Have you checked up on what your receiver's listening modes are and what options you have? That Denon is a good performer, and should be able to assist you in matrixing something to your liking......

Thanks Forsberg 21. I'll check it out later today and see what I can come up with

Hopefully you will find something to your liking. I keep all of my TV viewing options as either Dolby Digital or just PXII - Movie for my HD/SD audio. I have had no issues with big fluctuations with watching TV or a blu. However, yes, the blu comes in much cleaner, but that is for obvious reasons.
