I've been trying to connect my player with an older style 5.1 surround amp to no avail, I realise much have been discussed on this topic - my apologies for opening another thread on it.
My amp has no HDMI connection, the player has no digital coax, I have tried optic fibre but only 3 channels is audable regardless of the settings. I sort of understand why although it's all a bit technical for me. That leaves me with the old analog connections, my only problem is I have now no sound on my sub woofer channel through my bluray player, the sub though still works from other sources. My sub is active and is connected via analog connector also to my amp, my question is: can i connect the active sub straight to my bluray player's analog out? (as i only really use my bluray player now on my amp) All advice much appreciated. Thanks Emile |
