Lotr blu ray boxset - Blu-ray Forum

Hi--picked up a leaflet in blockbusters and on the release list it has LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy for release next monday ( 9th nov )...not sure if this is already posted--sorry if it has.

I'd be excited if this was a release of the extended versions....

what i have read is that this isnt the EE of the movies, but the source is Internet and it can be wrong.

The release of these got put back to sometime next year a few months ago now.

I'm hoping it's because they are gonna skip the theatrical versions and just release the extended versions instead. But i very much doubt it.

Theatrical is coming next year I think. Extended not before 2011 or even maybe in 2012.
