Default Samsung PN50B550

I currently have a Sony Bravia KDL-42V4100 LCD and am looking to upgrade to something 50"+. I have my eye on this Samsung PN50B550 that Best Buy has for only $1199.

Thoughts?

I convinced my father to buy the PN50B550 a few months ago and he couldn't be happier. He upgraded from a 15 year old Toshiba rear projection so this combined with the HD upgrade from Comcast is like a new world for him.

I just picked up the PN58B550 last month and I am blown away by the improvement over my old HP5054. I hooked it up to my new Sony BD-360 Blu Ray player and my DirecTV HD DVR and I love the clarity and the contrast that it can handle. Plus, the 3 HDMI's are great for those of us that also have an HD-DVD player!

My old 50" Samsung plasma was moved up to my son's play room to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny (both in HD).
