Anyone pick up Damnation, if so what are your initial thoughts on this game?

I did a search of the forum and seems there is no thread on this matter.

I've been really intrigued by this game but am wanting to hear some feedback before blind purchasing.

agreed i had been following this game for awhile but early vids ive seen so far dont give me great hope for the game .. the vehicle parts especially had me leary ..

Yea, unfortunately, apparently the game sucks, according to early reviews. I had my eye on this one too...

I bet it'll tank a bit more than Eat Lead: The Return Of Matt Hazard did.

I know people don't like to listen to reviews, but when the aggregate score of the game is '32' on Metacritic I'm going to believe them, and pass.

I had it pre-ordered and picked it up tuesday. The gameplay is choppy and the graphics are horrificly sub-par. When I searched online for games there were none. In hours of searching and trying to host I found ONE online co-op campaign and it was full. So apparently there is no online community.

Traded it back in already.

Damn, this sucks ... and they had vids acting like this would be huge ... the whole what, steam punk culture?

Then I found out codemasters had set the guiness book of world recrods for biggest video game with "Fuel" so I started to get worried about this game thinking it may have got less dev time unless ofcourse codemasters could handle such huge duties ...

Well it does seem big. But not really fun.

I HIGHLY suggest a rent first before anyone buys this. And don't buy it for the online.

Yeah, I'm one that will usually ignore reviews and I almost bought the game tonight but I figured I'd at least check into it a little first. Wow, it's hard to find a good comment on the game so I guess I'll pass. I saw some stuff on it on Qore and thought it looked good so it's disappointing that they apparently messed up the execution.

ive made it past the first two levels...and yes, this game freakin' sucks....damn u lamp for talking me into renting this piece of crap just so we could do co-op for an easy plat. trophy....!!!....I wanna gauge out my eyes....lol....everything about this game is sloppy....trophies are easy though

Im ready for this disaster. Sometimes really crappy games are fun to play with a friend because you can laugh at the horrific mess together

I tried playing with a buddy split screen after a night of drinking. Got about 5 mins then switched to RE5.
