Question ripped open Logik DV-BD1000 Blu-ray player!!

hi im new here an pretty new to bluray for pc ...be gentle... lol

ok so a friend gave me a Logik DV-BD1000 Blu-ray player. complaining it sucked, stuttering whilst playing films + lack of the promised update, he had enough and gave it me.

so me being me i ripped it apart maybe to sort out better cooling or just have a mooch inside well i found something better imo........

the drive used is sata pc compatible power lead is standerd aswelll

ok so i ripped it out n stuffed it in my pc after a hang and a reeboot xp detected it an hey presto i have blue ray....

now all was after is finding out if there are anyfirmware updates for this drives which windows only shows as (BDROM BP-04) extra info from anydvd>>> B00M P8410001015 1200.... it has 2 lazers 1 for dvd 1 for blue-ray.. and it has worked flawlessly for the last week or so.... and still going

this is just to show my finding and if possible find out if there are any updates and who made it??????

thanks again if this is in wrong place please redirect me
