Default Quick question about a Blu-ray Disc?

Has anyone ever received a used BD movie that has a protective seal on the top of the disc? I got one today and took it off, which came off fine, but now the top of it is sticky from the sticker. I thought it might just be a peel off. Will it damage my blu-ray player if I put it in? I put it in and the movie came on and took it out of the player with no problems. I just don't want it to ruin my player in the future.

Main reason I dont rent or buy [reviously rented BDs is that sticker, or some incarnation of it. I have no idea how it will affect you player but I had several DVDs get stuck way back when...

Goo gone + microfiber cloth, kleenex or paper towel = no worries.

Why the hell would someone put one of those stupid condoms on their BD anyway?

I definitely would NOT put it in your player unless/until you clean it.

I had a buddy in college who this happened to. Put it in his DVD player and never got it out. I think we eventually took apart the player to remove it, but I wouldn't want to do that with my precious BD player.
