Default Onkyo 876 vs Pioneer sc-05 and sc-07

I have a Pioneer pro 111fd with the new Pioneer ELITE fd23 Blu Ray player and a Onkyo 876! Do you think I should sale the Onkyo and get a Pioneer sc-05 or 07? Not that I do not use the isf modes on the Onkyo Bec My Pioneer plasma already has the isf modes unlocked on it. And I work @ Best buy so I could get a good deal on the Pioneer sc-05 and the 07.

What do you mean by a good price on the SC-05 or 07? The onkyo 876 is a great receiver but if the price is low enough on the elite receivers they may be the better choice that plus you sync everything to one manufacturer for a lil more ease of use.

A good price these days is anywhere around $750-$800 for the 05' and around $1,000 for the 07'. But since he works at Best Buy, it could be even lower if there are any still around.....it's been slim pickens lately for these models.

TheSC-05 or SC-07 are good receivers, but the Onkyo 876 is pretty nice too. It's probably more trouble than it's worth. I'd just keep the 876.

yeah those are about the prices i'm seeing. I was just wondering since they are on clearance what the lowest any best buy has them for just because BB is an authorized retailer. If its not the much of a difference btw old vs the new sc25/27, I may just get one of the newer ones. My denon avr987 works fine, but just doesnt have the new codecs, so the PS3 is doing the work. my PS3 is being changed though to a Pio BDP-51fd so I wanted a nicer receiver.
