Default ps3, pms and surround sound

I downloaded entourage in 720p. I have pms (playstation media server) on my computer and was watching it through my ps3 and onkyo 606, i cant get the onkyo to read it like a normal movie and produce surround sound. Is it possible to get surround sound with this set up? If so any tips on how to do this?

I believe all the media from the PS Store are only in stereo sound.

Except he downloaded it onto his computer, and PMS doesn't support DRM'd files of any sort. I personally would love to know where the OP found a legitimate online source for downloading movies that work with PMS.

I was certain that this was going to be a funny story about a guy and his girlfriend arguing about HT technology on the week leading up to her friends visit!!!

No, No.... I have season one of Entourage. The HBO series. I downloaded it to my computer so I dont need to keep swapping disks. But then I cant get surround sound from the computer. Is there a program that you can use like pms that will get you 5.1?

Is swapping a disc once every 2 hours really that inconvenient in order to get the full presentation quality???

The exponential growth of laziness on this planet astounds me.

Downloaded it from the Internet to your computer, right? Because you said it was 720p, which means you didn't get it from a DVD and negates the swapping discs.

I'd be happy to troubleshoot with you but you need to be honest.

What kind of computer are you using?

You would be incorrect, if you hit options (Triangle) then go to Audio Options, some movies/tv shows have 5.1 Dolby Surround.
