What are TAGS? And how do I use/apply them? - Blu-ray Forum

I have no idea what "tags" are and how to use them.

Can someone kindly explain their use?

notice the search button in the forum header next to New Posts ... You can do a search based on tags. If people dont abuse it, and tag threads appropriately then it can be a great feature when searching for certain items so to speak.

Sometimes the main search box on vbulletin can be too vague, the tag search can close that gap.

Iron Man Blu-ray SteelBook .... could then show me all threads tagged for that.

They work great, but I was on another site that had them. I dutifully inputted lots of useful tags, and they pulled the feature without remorse, losing all the work I had done.
