XBOX LIVE question - Blu-ray Forum

i just got an xbox so i can play cod5 zombies with my brother but i have a question if he bought the map packs can i use his name and download them again instead of buying it becuase i know with the ps3 you can download up to 4 times.

I do not think you can but I have never tried to do it. I do think that if you use his name and it allows you, I think all downloaded material is locked to that specific account and you could not use it under your account. I could be totally wrong, but I think I am right.

your best bet is to just buy the map packs!

DLC is DRM locked to your gamertag, unless you are playing on the same xbox with him you will not be able to download them unless you pay for them yourself, that goes for anything you download, arcade games, whatever, Sorry!
