picked up children of the corn - Blu-ray Forum

so I went to pick up knowing and silent hill today, and with utter amazement I found children of the corn sitting on the shelf. It was my favorite stephen king movie when I was little, so I was extremely excited to find it. Granted the movie doesn't come out for another month and a half. So I will try to post a review of the movie by the end of the weekend. Now give me people under the stairs and I will be happy.

24.99, but I figured for $6 more than amazon has it, it would be worth it to go ahead and pick it up. I used my reward certificates on an in-store pick up with silent hill. I kinda wish that I would have perused the store before I ordered some blu's online. I'm sure I could have found more. I have good luck with the them. I have been able to get Donnie Darko, Boondock Saints and countless other catalog titles way before street date.

wow best buy is really letting things out early latley..i was able to also pick up man with the golden gun and licence to kill a month before their street dates and now people are finding children of the corn early

What in the promotional exclusive is going on here? :P

well its been going on for a long time at my best buy, but only with catalog titles. So I hope they never stop, or catch themselves.

I really do wish we would get a best buy here. All we have are Hastings & Wal-Mart : Not Good. Oh well, I'll stick with Amazon.

I've had this since it was released at Best Buy. I thought everyone pretty much knew that they had the early release on it. Kind of like Twilight at Best Buy and Target.

But now it's listed at BB.com as a "preorder" with a 8/25 release date. So I'm not sure if you're going to be able to get it in-store for that price. I'm going to try this afternoon.

It has been sold at BB since June 30th, because of a deal with Starz/Anchor Bay. Now that it's being sold at a reasonable price, it's a preorder.

They had it on the shelf at my local Best Buy this morning.

I just pre-ordered Children of the Corn from $12.99 ($13.77 was the grand total) from Best Buy. I will be picking it up at my local store so I don't have to pay for shipping.
