As both of you, i wanna ALL Lynch in Blu!!!
Yes, I own wild at heart because it has been released in France some details about it: It's Region Free (A,B,C on the back of the cover) Format : 2.35:1 1920x 1080p - 16/9 Languages : French and English subtitled Sound: 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio Encode: AVC The transfer is as u can expect nothing outstanding from a 1990's movie. It never looked better though. Cheers Last edited by Rom1; 03-16-2009 at 02:22 AM. |

Elephant Man is supposed to be in the works for release later this year by Paramount. This was reported on www.thedigitalbits.com some time ago.
I hope Universal will release 'Mulholland Dr.' this year - that's my favourite Lynch movie. |

I just broke down and bought the Lime Green Box Set that he just released on DVD with basically the first half of his career (including a mystery disc with an extra hour of Wild At Heart footage). Accordingly, as he's been very hands-on with his releases on DVD, I would think that he would concentrate on his 1990-present films for any initial BD releases rather than asking people to double dip so quickly on those older titles. I of course want all of them and props to whoever mentioned On The Air (let's put it on a disc with the Hotel Room Trilogy and we'll be all set).
If I could pick one that I'd rather have than any other film in his collection it would be Mulholland Drive since I think it would benefit the most from an HD transfer (and along with Lost Highway...it's the one I come back to the most to re-watch). That being said, we Lynch fans have long been fighting for the deleted scenes from Fire Walk With Me and a new BD release would be the ideal opportunity to finally see those last portals into the strange and wonderful world of Twin Peaks come to the public. I really do want all of them pretty badly on BD and would gladly double dip for the pleasure of owning them! |
