I can't say I'm shocked.. paramount makes bank off these movies.. this one will probably end up around 85-90 Million Domestic on a less than 30 Million budget

If they can make money off this in theaters, good for them, even though this has VOD written all over it.

of course you do, you're a pessimist

Jack Ass the Movie- 70 Million Domestic
Jack Ass number two- 84 Million Domestic
Jack Ass 3D- 170 Million Domestic

even though it doesn't have all the cast members from Jack-Ass it still has the main one and people love these movies.. it will end up around 80 million, especially after the last movies success

Only thing I'm worried about is that all of the good stuff was just shown in the trailer.

first one was 87 mins long.. 92 mins for the sequel and 94 mins for the last one.. its hard for them to get more than 80 mins on a skit about an old man

This isn't a sequel, this is a flimsy spin off. You're comparing it to films where the only comparison is a word in the title.

I'm comparing the premise of these films, its all the same especially since Paramount is making the smart move and calling the title of this Jack Ass Presents.. read some of the boards people in the UK are going nuts for this right now.. just look at the comments in the video posted.. it seems your peeps are more interested in this than anyone else

I think it looks really unfunny. When I said the title my mom wanted to see the trailer. She actually thinks it looks funny and wants to see it. LOL. I bet this is going to have a lot of old people at it .

I do think it will be a hit. Probably around 80 Million total. I agree with nolfoc's prediction.

Probably are, many underaged kids over here get the chance to watch Jackass far too easily.

This just doesn't have the fun 'crazy idiocy' that the other Jackass movies have. Looks more like a knock-off of Borat/Bruno.

And not nearly as good as Borat. Heck, not even as good as Bruno, which was only OK. I agree though. It seems a bit too staged.
