Those looking for a great looking VPI 16.5 record cleaner, this new listing on
Agon just came up.. Price is really, really good. Way cheaper that what I paid for mine.

An NO! I am NOT! the seller. I like my VPI and will be keeping it a long time.

It doesn't make sense why they would be selling so cheap! They rated 9 out of 10. The seller has all positive ratings, strange.

It is a bit low, but a lot of Audiogon sellers sell their "wares" for about 1/2 and sometimes below half the list.

As an unfortunate example, when I sold my Proceed AVP-S on Audiogon (listed as an 8 due to age and was in mint condition), I think that I sold it for $625; the list price when new was $5,000.

But, unfortunately the selling price had fallen through the floor with all of the newer units that had come out.

Rich is absolutely correct. I've been trying to sell my Totem Mites for a decent price, but I'm still not getting any bites. Seems like everyone only wants to pay half or less, even for newer and in mint condition items.

Yes I agree with everything said here but there is one difference the same item has sold routinely on Audiogon for almost $400. I would just be extra careful.

I myself sold almost all of my old audio equipment for about half of the retail price. So I hear what you are saying.

...and it's sold! Knew that was going to happen. Too good of a piece of equipment to hang around for long at that price.

Who needs permission.. hell I'm still on the couch from the TT I bought, that would have been totally worth another week or two....
