Man.... I didn't find a thread announcing this.... and I'm a little shocked..... but here it is!

"Stop Making Sense" due in 4 weeks.... how did I miss this?

I am going to absolutely blow the windows out with "Life During Wartime" from this one!!!!!!!

Heck, my DVD of this became too damaged to play properly, so I bit the bullet and bought a new copy of it a couple of years ago, and I think I paid $25 or so for it..... $22 for this on Blu-ray is a STEAL! (and it will likely go down too, much like most Music titles on BD)

You seem pretty familiar with the DVD Beta. Please check back in here with your opinion on the audio upgrade(or anybody else who is willing to compare the two). If it really blows you away I might be willing to upgrade myself. I think this is the best concert film of all time. My personal favorites are Psycho Killer with the boombox backup and Naive Melody dancing with the lamp.

I certainly will..... I just glanced at it, but I hope there are more bonus songs than the DVD had..... I have an in-dash DVD player in my jeep, so I watch a LOT of concert DVDs that way..... When I put one in, it stays in there for a long time usually, and gets a lot of play..... but I've watched this one in my home a BUNCH of times..... so I'll do a back-to-back comparison for sure.

The bass line in in that Psycho Killer from the little boom box is hypnotic, that's for sure.

I've never been a fan of 80's music, but The Talking Heads are a completely different animal all together..... and I absolutely love this disc.....

I want a nice 2-channel PCM of this!

Double-CD? I have the "Special New Edition" single disc with extra tracks (compared with original CD) but I have never seen a double-cd version. Is that a bootleg?

Just played Stop Making Sense last night. The blu-ray is fantastic, a definite must-buy for any Talking Heads fans.
