I think it's a barebones edition with no extras and imposed subtitles :/

-Si es una edcion simple solo el disco, esta es una de las poquisimimas imposisiones de mi esposa asi que no me pude dar el lujo de buscarle la mas barata

Well, you know, they did leak the workprint early, so this was bound to happen to the retail releases.

mi HTiB is not the best so Im ot going to comment on this sorry but 5.1 DTS sounds good too4

this is the most bare BR of all, no pop up menu, no scene selection, NOTHING just a Top Menu screen to choose language with or with out subtitles, very expensive for a movie only release

It kind of sounds like a bootleg, I've never heard of a blu-ray without a scene selection option. Though it may happen in other regions.

ever watch a WB movie? They start automatically with no menus.....I know TDK is like that, as well as Body of Lies, etc

Plus its being sold by reputable retailers in mexico

Yes, but that is different as there is a pop up menu which allows you to go to scene selection. I just can't imagine a blu without scene selection.

where did you get this verification? that looks like the specs for the U.S. release.sometimes "import releases" tend to crop the image and leave you with a 16x9 aspect ratio to fill the screen.i'm just trying to make sure.also,Alliance releases their blu rays with the exact same limited options of not even being able to do chapter selections.

Well you can clearly see the DTS HD-MA logo on the front.
