When you get to the burning a data CD/DVD stage, instead you can just copy the file to USB storage or whatever you usually use to copy files over to PS3.

To answer the original question its a mp4 video codec.

If used correctly can produce very beautiful encodes.

Nope but yahoo is my isp.. If they want me on the payroll im truly up for that.

No when I was a mod on a forum long long long time ago.. someone would ask a question usually some answered google it...

Instead of pasting a link to the detailed faq they sent them offsite specially new members the goal of a forum is not to direct members away from your forum but to keep them there, of course I had another job.. I was known as the protector of the noobs..

If you direct someone to a search engine there most likely not going to come back. Since you have already gained there interest simply answering the question by giving them a direct website that answers there question the user feels like wow they answered my question that is a site I should visit for quick information.

As we live in a popcorn society people generally want information quickly or on demand, while this is not the most viable quality a little bit of kindness can go a long way and almost any quirk can be sanded out.

Okay now that I have explained why that is a pet peeve of mine I hope you understand my thinking on this.

Personally divx is one of my favorite codecs it saved me alot during my video projects at school.

Paramount, Lionsgate, Warner Bros. & Sony Pictures movies finally available (legitimately) in DivX

SD-only, but another option, if downloads are your thing.
