Warner Bros Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season (2008-2009)

Just incase some have not heard, the eighth season of Smallville is now available for preorder from Amazon and right on this site.

Bring on the 9th Season!

I've heard rumors about a 10th! Thoughts?

Not sure it should go to a 10th season, at least not until I see the 9th. 10 might be pushing it since there really IS only so much they can do with the remaining cast that they haven't already done before.

Since they oinly recently decided on season nine, I defintiely dont think they'd be thinking about season 10 till at least next January or Febuary.

At first I was a little hesitant about 9, but then I remembered I was hesitant about an 8th season too, but have loved what they have given us with that so far, so bring on 9!

I am still trying to play catch up. I am curently on season 5. I had to stop watching because Kristin Kreuk acting is horrible. Jessica Simpson is a better actress and that ain't saying mutch. I heard they wrote her character off so that only means that the show has got to be 10 times better. I have really enjoyed the first 4 seasons and am looking forward to the rest of the series.

yeah Sussuduo, that's exactly what I've heard. So either way, looks like they want it to go that far. very interesting!

and sorry to tell u Spolcyc, but they wrote her back in this season. lol don't worry, it was just 5 episodes. Kind of closing the Clana story line. So keep watchin man. maybe we'll get to the 10th.

Well, yeah any time an actor or actress leaves a show, they are written off. Kreuk left to do other things though.

and was paid like a truckload of cash for it. It'll be interesting to see if Welling can branch out into other roles. He's Clark Kent for me...nuf' said, but I'd like to see his range as actor beside crap roles like Cheaper By the Dozen 1 & 2 and The Fog.

I've enjoyed the whole series, but interesting that season 8(the one that the show's creators decided not to be a part of) has been much more (consistently)interesting.

EXACTLY!!! I didn't really like the 1st and 2nd Season, but who would of thought, from the third season (which brought the new Exec Producers to Smallville) I LOVED EVERY MOMENT! It's a totally new show also. it's grown for the better and I'd personaly LOVE to see it go 10 seasons

Seasons 1 & 2 were basically the foundation work for one the best and longest running super hero shows today. They are running out of characters though, who knows if there will be enough left for a 10th season. Will grab this blu-ray first day.

No idea, it's the longest one I can remember. Season 7 was up and down, glad season 8 has pretty much been consistently good. Still agree with those that say it NEEDS to end with Welling flying over the sky with the Superman costume on.

Season 6 is or was on sale from an Amazon 3rd party for like $20, you may want to check that out.
