Default A problem with my new Samsung LE40B750

I've asked this question around AV Forums and other sites, but i just get ignored or no-one seems to know the answer.

I have a new (1 month old) Samsung LE40B750, when I play my Xbox 360 via HDMI, every so often the screen will cut out to black and about 1 to 1.5 seconds later, the screen will come back where it left off, it seems like a extra long blink of the eye. This has only happened once with my Blu-Ray player.

Does anybody know why this is? Is it something to do with the cables I'm using? Or is there a problem with the HDMI ports on the tv?

This has happened to me a couple of times, it could be a loose HDMI cable I'm not sure, doubt it's your TV though.

wow since its a brandnew set you should return if you can cuz that was a problem before its called handshake issue with HDMI on TV sets and players (older models like the 7000s before it was called 7 series), try updating the firmware on the TV see if that fixes it.

I did try connecting the Xbox 360 up with component with 720p or 1080i, but it still had this problem. It isnt the Xbox 360 though because it works fine on all the other HDTV's with HDMI in the house.

I have tried updating the firmware on the tv but it didn't read the update files through my USB stick when I plugged it into the tv.

Had the same issue with the PS3 on my 32A450, the video goes black for a second then reappear, I upgraded the HDMI cable and its only happened once since then, still is a weird issue though... it's like it's being fussy!

Yeah this is exactly what is happening, I just managed to update the firmware of the tv, not sure why it didn't work before but it has updated this time so tht might of fixed the problem, not sure yet though as I haven't used the tv today really.

I don't have any play console but the problem you have i have it with my white Sony HDMI cable and blu-ray player, sometimes it works fine for long time and at times the picture gets lost often...when i change the cable the blu-ray works fine so i have concluded that it's a problem with some HDMI cables (they are very sensibles so any movement can cause the picture get lost on the TV screen for some while and then it comes back). I know it's a very irritating thing
