Facepalm/IBTL pictures

Just curious if this counts as threadcrapping, because imo, it's getting really old and tiresome to stumble into threads where someone has felt the need to insert a large facepalm or IBTL picture. Yes it's easy to just move along to the next post and ignore them, but I was curious as to some of the mods' takes on this and/or if this reprimandable since these pictures (namely facepalm) seem to be popping up in greater frequency.
