Collecting HT Gallery Pics - Blu-ray Forum

Hi everyone,

I am want to collect some quality HT gallery pictures to add to my collection.
These pictures will be showcase on my personal website for all to see.

Here are my requirements:

picture size: 500X375 landscape or less than 1mb each
please zip file if possible and no more than 15mb per email.

Email address can be found on my avatar or by clicking on my username.

All you have to do to copy any picture on this site (or others for that matter) is right-click on any photo and select "Save picture as". Then you choose the directory you want to save it in. There are so many great HT pohotos on this site, I'm sure you can get a great collection started.

What is the premise of the site?

Also, using photos without ones permission is a big no-no. I'm glad to see you are asking for volunteers first. The other option is to browse the galleries and PM the member and ask them for permission.

Thanks all to who reply. I did not want to offend anyone w/o their permissions and copying one by one would be time consuming.

But I guess I will have to PM ppl then.

In regard to the poster about my site, it's in the same niche as this forum that's why I didn't want to post it. I'm just looking for additional images to add to my gallery. I don't mind ppl tagging their images with their info.

I didn't see a thread here that has just an image galleries but rather individual post. It would be nice if we have a post that has a collective gallery for all to see.

Hey, no problem about giving you the link.

Regarding the photo use, I don't see any link back information or anything that denotes who owns the photos. I'm leery to give usage rights to my photos without some sort of agreement. Do you have a contract that you are using to show that only you (blyraymaven.com) will use the photos. That they are copyrighted by the owners, they will not be sold or used in any commercially marketed documentations without usage fees, etc.

Sorry to sound d**kish, but I got burned the first time I let some use one of my photos. I found it in a stock photo pool and they were getting 25 - 40 cents for every use. I won't make that mistake again.

I am NOT making any money off of the pics, as I stated in the thread that you are welcome to copyright or tag the images with your info.

I am not selling the images as I am just collecting more for my personal site. The pic size that I'm requesting is only 500X375, these are too small to be any useful as a stock photos.

I make little money from displaying Google ads & other affiliate programs none of which involve photo selling/sharing.

P.S. - If you all are so concern about ppl stealing your pics then it shouldn't be listed on public forum or social media site as anyone can right-click and copy them. Maybe you should list a disclaimer next to the photos.

I don't intend to create a contract about the photos as I have no expertise in this matter.

I am simplying asking anyone that don't mind sharing some pics with me, hence the thread.

If these photos are being use for personal use then that is fine with me, however, if its used for business then its a different story.

Seems like he is using pics from this site to populate his own site. I'm sorry, but his site seems like a poor attempt at duplicating "our" site, and now it is including the same pics. Seems a little strange...IMO

I managed to get more pics from other social media site already. This thread was to see if I can get permission from ppl that wanted to share without have do answer a dozen questions about "how to profit" from your pics.

Anyways, if everyone is so concerns about me stealing your pics, you can rest assure that I have not use any pics so far from this site.

I don't want this to turn into a bad thread.
