Default New update gallery pics...

Since my last upload there has been some changes in my home theater setup. A new 46" Sony XBR4, Boston Acoustics sub PV 1000, a new Boston Acoustics PV920 Center speaker, and a new family member as well. These photos were retaken with my new shiny Nikon D40 DSLR camera. Enjoy!!!!!!

Love the System and the Set-Up.
The AV cabinet is massive but looks extremely well made(looks as if it could be hand crafted).

And that New Boston Sub with the front control Panel has one Beautiful Finish to it.Reminds me of beeing constructed from exotic wood.
Also the new Center Speaker fits in very well with the Front Speakers you possess.

Love the TV,Looks very High End and capable of a Razor Sharp Image.
And seeing all of that High End Sony ES Equipment is awe inspiring.

I have a lot of respect for the ES Line of Sony Products.
They put a lot into them and they all perform on an entirely Elevated Level.

And,as others have said,it is a Very Clean install. It Blends in very well with the Great Looking Living Room its in.And it doesn't stick out at all.I love to see an Amazing System that doesn't disrupt the look of the room its in(if it isn't a dedicated HT Room).

A Job Very Well Done. From the Largest Piece to the Smallest accessory.
It all looks Amazing, Congratulations are certainly in order.

Also Love the New Member to the Family. One great looking specimen of Man's Best Friend.

You did a fantastic job on that AV stand. I thought it was a Salamander until ZIPPO told me it was originally from Ikea and you made modifications. Job well done!!

You've done a great job with the room! The stand and wall art behind the screen help it seamlessly blend into the room. I've had Boston Accoustic speakers before, so I bet the system sounds great.

Have fun with it!

BTW, what settings did you use on your D40 to take those shots. They looked great!

Hello SONYBLURAYES.

The new snapshots look great. The upgrades are very impressive. In adding the new center and sub, have you experienced a marked improvement in performance? Is the dialog cleaner, more precise, fuller, etc,.... and what about the sub?
I do have one request. Using your new camera, could you retake the shots of the source components. Being that they are so pretty and all, they do deserve to be displayed in a high quality, do cha think?

Anyway, the room as a whole looks flawless! A job well done.

Sorry I havent replied to my own thread!!! Ive been involved in a car accident. Other driver's fault, of course. Im in the middle of getting my truck fix, lawyer, medication for the pain, chiropractic visits 3x a week, body shops...oh boy...anyways.. thanks everyone for your kind comments!

Here are some of the answers to some of you..

I used the manual settings on my nikon D40 with a VR 18-55mm lens. I used between 10-15 and f5.6 with 800 iso, white balance auto.

Ill be re taking new pics of my components soon as well!

Yes, I made part of that cabinet myself. Its an IKEA cabinet modified with mesh grills instead of glass. Removing the glass was the hardest part of this modification. Many were confused of a Salamender brand but its not. Theres a thread about this that I wrote what, where, and how I made it. search it.

The new sub is a killer. I cant used it at full force. My neighbors upstairs would call security if I do. Even at low volume the bass is clean. Ill be replacing the other receiver sony str-da777es soon to a sony es ta-n9000es amplifier to handle all my speakers shortly.

Thanks again for your comments!

Sorry to hear about the accident. Hope everything works out soon with little issue and your injuries are minor and any pain and recovery will be as little and easy as possible.

I concur with Rich's sentiments. I hope you first and foremost recover completely from this. Good luck and my best wishes!
