Default Problem playing divx on panny dmp-bd80

I am having difficulty playing divx files on my panny dmp-bd80. the TV is the panny th-42pz85u, when i play a divx file the output changes to a 4:3 image with bars on the sides. The film is the right aspect ratio inside the 4:3 frame (1.85:1 or wider...), but i wish the have the divx file play in fullscreen with the proper aspect ratio with out having to zoom in. is there a setting i'm missing somewhere or a way to remedy this problem with out have to press zoom every time. Thanks

On another note, i've been reading that the 24p output feature causes some flickering with the previous generation panny plasma's (like mine). i've tested it with dave and tim live @ radio city blu, but it seems to flicker with 24p on and off, so if you would like to make a suggestion leaving it either on or off, please give your input.

Thanks a billion

~Kev.
