Default differences between the Canadian and US version of Coraline

Hey, Whats the differences between the Canadian and US versions of Coraline. I think the Canadian version does not come with the DVD version of the film, but I may be wrong. Can anyone tell what else is different between the two versions.

Thanks

As far as I know they are the same release except the Canadian version has a sticker on the back acknowledging Alliance as the distributor.

Canadian version has the Blu-ray, & a digital copy. Other than that, a nice slipcover & some pairs of 3D glasses.

Just checked.

The discs are the same and you do get the 3-D glasses. The only differences are the cover and disc art.

So I am a little confused, does the Canadian version include the DVD as well?

Universal does BD+DVD+DC combos differently than other studios.

Instead of:

Disc 1: Blu-ray Disc

Disc 2: DVD-Video

Disc 3: Digital Copy (DVD-ROM)

Universal is:

Disc 1: Blu-ray Disc

Disc 2: DVD-Video and Digital Copy

Universal does not waste disc space on most of their combo packs. They will use the DVD for both the Digital Copy files and any SD material that can be shared between DVD & Blu-ray Disc releases...

Ex. Hellboy II to save on cost and replication issues, the BD and DVD share the same second disc with documentary, additional extras, and digital copy.

I think they might be the same, Canadian version might have French on the packaging however that might not be on the USA version?

The US version was released by Universal while the Canadian version was released by Alliance. Also on the US version box it says that it includes the DVD and digital copy, while on the Canadian version box it says that it includes the digital copy. No mention of the DVD. So does the Canadian version not have the DVD or did they just forget to put it on the box?

The Canadian box also does not say if it has U-Control or BD-Live on it. Does it include this as well?

Alliance is simply repackaging the US Blu-ray Discs of Universal films for the Canadian market.

OK, thanks. Guess Alliance just forgot to mention that it includes the DVD as well. Just wanted to make sure before I open it up, because Alliance rips us Canadians off alot. I was just thinking that they did what they did with 17 Again. The US version got a DVD version, but when Alliance released it in Canada they did not include the DVD version.
