Default European version of Coraline?

Is Coraline out anywhere in Europe yet?

I was wondering if The Euro version from Universal has BD-Live like the US version, because there's no mention of it on the press release for the UK version? A French and Dutch review I've managed to find don't mention BD-Live either.

Also will the European Blu-ray release include a copy of the film on DVD as well, along with a digital copy like the US?

If anyone knows, post!

Coraline Blu-ray will be out next Wednesday here in Finland... a friend of mine will be buying a copy on day one, so I can ask him what features the disc has and report back to you then.

So has anyone received their European copy of Coraline yet?

Any sign of BD-Live on there?

Oh, that sucks! Are the Finnish and Swedish versions Universal releases?

Did you get the DVD version of the film in Finland and Sweden like they did in America? Oh and how many pairs of 3D glasses did you get?

Does the Finnish/Swedish BD have a BBFC symbol on it btw? BBFC symbols look like THIS. If it does then we're getting the same disc in the UK.

I was looking forward to this BD-Live feature, supposedly accessible on the US disc: "BD Live - The World According to Henry - In this feature, director Henry Selick discusses his approach to the film adaptation of the award-winning book and what he loves about Coraline."

And NO BD-Live on the Canadian version either!?

Doesn't Canada just get the exact same disc from Universal that America gets? So didn't the US get a BD-Live enabled release after all?

I don't get Universal's BD-Live Policy at all? It seems so stupidly random.

Mamma Mia! which is the all time highest grossing film at the UK Box Office didn't get BD-Live in the UK but did in the US. The UK versions of Wanted and (from what I can tell) Forgetting Sarah Marshall did get BD-Live in the UK however!

Now Coraline looks like it won't have BD-Live functionality in the UK either? Why so bloody random Universal?

No its just the bd version, and yes its released by universal here in Sweden.
I got 4 pairs of 3d glasses, and there is no bbfc symbol on the cover.

Thanks for your reply bojtel123.

So the Blu-ray version of Coraline in Sweden is a single disc version only and not two discs like America?

Why do we get treated like second class citizens in Europe!? I bet it was more much more expensive in Sweden than it is in America too?

The BBFC symbol if it's there will be on the actual disc not the cover.

I'd be grateful if you could check your disc when you have time and let me know if you can see one on it?

Cheers!

Disc two includes the 2D-film on a DVD. So what's the big deal?
