Hello All,
I did a Google Search and Came across this Thread Bringing up An Issue I have been having with my System, for almost a year now. (I did do some searches but nothing came back with help for the search words i used, so I apologize in advance If I missed a post explaining this. My system: (stock clocks/with a CPU Downclocked thanks to my crappy EVGA mobo.) CPU::Q9550 2.8 Quad downclocked to 2.6 GHz GPU::GTX 260 896MB OC edition PSU::Corsair 1KW RAM::8GB DDr2 800 OCZ reaper MOBO::EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX Intel HDD::4.5TB on Various Western Digital Hdds, and 1 1.5 TB Seagate 7200.11 Monitors::2 LG L206WTY-BF 2ms 20" Wide Screen @ 1680x1050 each CD/DVD::SAMSUNG 22X DVD±R DVD SH-S223Q BDRW*::DVD±R/RW with Blu-ray Disc support Listed as supporting:: Optical Drive Type Blu-ray Burner Optical Drive Spec DVD+R DL Write : 8x max. DVD+R Write : 8x max. DVD+RW Write : 8x max. DVD-R Write : 8x max. DVD-RW Write : 8x max. CD-R Write : 24x max. CD-RW Write : 16x max. CD Read : 32x max. DVD Read : 8x max. DVD±RW : Yes DVD-RAM Write : 5x max. (4.7GB) DVD-R DL Write : 4x max. BD-R Write : 2x max. BD-RE Write : 2x max. BD-ROM Read : 2x max. BD-RE Read : 2x max. BD-R DL Read : 2x max. BD-R DL Write : 2x max. DVD-RAM Read : 5x max. (4.7GB) BD-ROM DL Read : 2x max. *Ive wondered if this is actually a BD drive from the description and the problems I'm having with it. Sony insists it is, but Ive had issues with what they've told me versus what I received. The Drive originally came in a Sony Vaio off New Egg which has since been taken apart and put in a new case with the above new internals. I've only Tried with Wanted and Walle. At the time I was attempting to get the player to work, I had the updated drivers, now I'm currently running CyberLink Power DVD 8 (Version 8.0.2021.50). Nivida Says my graphics Card and Display are HDCP-Capable. And I'm currently running Nvidia Drivers of 185.5. I can't figure out if the problem is software, display, or Drive Related (the BDRW is almost 3.5 years old now.) Thats All I can think of that would help, and any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time. |
