Default Jackass 3D Review Thread

Who'da Thunk it?
Never knew this was coming out until I saw it listed among 2010's movie lineup. Imagine that though, a Jackass Movie in 3D... pretty scary stuff

Is there any doubt what they plan on utilising 3D for?

If I remember correctly, Johnny Knoxville said they were going to take that same 3D technology that they used on Avatar and shove it up Steve-O's a**.

I wish that instead of 3D technology shoved up Steve-O's ass, it was a a brick of C4 or Semtex, you know whatever is handy.

I'm sure this is good for the fans but I will avoid at all cost. I do not want to see another dimension of that group. I saw the other 2 and laughed but the series doesn't hold a place in a collection.

They're good movies to make you cover up your own nuts while watching. This 3D thing might be scary in their hands...

This group of retards is exactly like those portrayed in Mike Judge's Idiocracy. We can only hope they kill themselves before the world is unfortunate enough for them to procreate.

They won't get another dime of mine in the theatre, especially not the extra to see puke come at me in 3D. I won't have any trouble just waiting to rent it.

So you can watch puke coming at you in 3D in the comfort of your own home...?

Bam Margera is a Mess After "Jackass 3D" Shoot
Posted: February 5th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

The third "Jackass" movie is set to hit theaters on October 15th in 3D. It has already wrapped up filming and TMZ caught with Bam Margera to find out how it went.

A few days ago, Bam was spotted outside the Katsuya restaurant in Los Angeles. He was either full of medication or incredibly fatigued. It turns out that it was both. And the reason was that he just returned from the "Jackass 3D" shoot.

"I just flew in from London," he said. "I got hit by a bus. Then I got hit by a taxi cab. Then I jumped in the god damn f*cking Thames River. That happened yesterday. Now I'm here."

It's good to see that Bam is alive, because after the second installment he was worried that the only way to outdo the last two films was to do stunts that could potentially kill him.

Details on Jackass 3D Reveal an Old-School 3D Approach

March 24th, 2010
Jackass 3D is taking an old-school approachWe reported back in December that the new Jackass film will be shot in 3D and it seems this won't be the same kind of 3D audiences have been enjoying with films like Avatar. Deadline New York is reporting that Jackass 3D will employ the 3D approach that breaks the plane of the screen and will appear to have objects coming out into the audience. Here's an excerpt from the article describing one of the 3D stunts in the film that won the Paramount execs over.

Insiders say some of the footage displayed how Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville and cohorts doing their usual pratfalls, but the stunt that really won the day was called "The Heli-cockter." One of the crew-I believe it was "Party Boy" Chris Pontius-tethered a remote control-operated helicopter to his penis, and sat there grinning as the copter swung in circles, flying out at the spectacle-wearing Paramount executives who green lit the film.

Jeff Tremaine, who directed the first two films, is back in the director's chair and the usual on-screen suspects - Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Steve-O, Jason Acuņa, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey - are starring in the film. Paramount hasn't announced a release date for the film as of yet.
http://www.movieweb.com/news/NEe6Enee6y1ygl
Plot Summary: The 3D sequel will shoot in Knob Lick, Kentucky, Mianus, Connecticut, Fukang, China, Buttzville, New Jersey and Gayville, South Dakota.

I dont care what anyone says, I laugh my ass off watching some of this stuff and have been since their CKY days. I have seen Oct. 15th on a few pages now as a release date.

i think their using the same old effect's of like how you would see "my bloody valentine 3D".

so most likely you will have to wear those goofy red/blue glasses when you walk into the theater..

i saw the jackass crew 2 year's ago filming skit's for jackass 3 in Disney Land,so it should be good..

err...yeah sure, that's what you had to wear when watching My Bloody Valentine

They don't use goofy red/blue any more, they didn't even use them for My Bloody Valentine!

They don't have good replay value but the first time you watch either, they are awesome.
