Default Side-Mounted Subwoofers

I have two Def Tech BP2004s and am about to put two eD A2 300 subwoofers into my system ( I'll update photos soon). My question is, and I don't think I've seen this covered yet, is where to which direction should I fire those subwoofers on the towers? Is there a theory as to towards or away from each other? (They are mirrored-- one is on the left, the other is on the right). My set-up will be the following, from left wall to right wall = BP tower, A2 300 sub, center speaker, A2 300 sub, BP tower. What are your thoughts?
