Default Funny- Smallville literally borrowed from Batman Begins...

I'm watching smallville season 6 on blu.. and on a couple episodes when they want an outer shot of a murky area of Metropolis- they literally show exact CGI shots of the Narrows from Batman Begins. I just thought it was funny, theyre both WB and it saved somebody some time

The scene in Terminator 3 where the nukes are being launched is also used in an episode of Smallville.

And (not Smallville related) the Pentagon shots (I think all of them, not 100% certain) in Transformers were from the Bourne movies.

I remember back in the 90's there were some very low budget B movies out there. You'd be watching them and next thing you know the actors are going down same hallway in a building and shooting at each other and its basically the same building, the same scenes and the exact same script. Just different actors in a different movie made by the same director or movie company. It was so laughable that I did a double take and was like what the heck is that.

I have always thought Smallville has some of the cheapest looking set design on television. Every episode ends up in a different abandoned factory that looks the same week to week. All the budget must be going to Tom Welling, because it certainly is not going into anything else.

yea they try to compensate with lots of funky lighting. Like the hospital has all these scary greens and blues filling the hallways

Somebody mentioned awhile back to me that during an episode of Smallville in 2005 they premiered a clip of Batman's first action scene at the drug dropoff point.
