Default Problems with BDP-320 and BD-Live.

So I just bought a new BD player, and wanted to check out BD-Live. I threw in both Transformers and The Dark Knight, and the problem was the same with both discs. I can get to the loading screen, where it shows the meter that it's loading. Once that disappears, that's it, all I get is a blank screen. The display on the player reads PLAY, but I can't see anything. None of the other buttons do anything either. Only way to get out of the blank screen is to press STOP and restart the whole process over to try again. Has anyone had this happen, and what did you do?

I have the same problem, bd-live will work with Lionsgate and Sony movies. When I try use bd-live with Warner Bros movies after the load screen it shows a preview but no sounds and cannot download anything.

Okay, so it's not the connection. I've checked it, and the player, my computer, my XBox and anything else I can think of finds and uses the connection. But on every disc that I've tried with BD Live, I get the loading screen, then a blank screen then after about 5 minutes, I get kicked back to the main menu. ON EVERY DISC!! Not worth the headache, the new player is going back. Keeping the 51FD, the things a tank.

I just got the Pioneer 120 (well I'll have it here Wednesday). I noticed with my Samsung 4600 it wouldn't work with Universal bd-live discs and others couldn't access Universal bd live either with that player. Then one day out of the blue it just worked. Might be a server issue allowing certain players or something needs fixed by firmware. I myself don't use bdlive so I probably won't be hooking up it to my 120 anytime soon.

I have the same issue with my new Pioneer BDP-320, BD-Live will not work. The Dark Night and Transformers will not work as you guys mentioned earliar. Has anyone talked to Pioneer Tech support, that is where I will start.

Yet another reason not to hook up your BD player and use BD Live, it isn't worth the headache!

The UK site must have a typo. Look at the change history on the UK site, it says the last update is 3.34. Also look at the Europe site http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/content/su...grade/BDP.html and the US site, they both also have 3.34 as the latest updates. So it must just be a typo on their part.

Hmmm the Netherlands website also says 3.44a and the firmware info in the menu on the player also, but anyway Transformers BD-live works over here .

Default Problems with BDP-320 and BD Live

I finally got BD Live to work via firmware update to 3.34a. However updating the firmware via the network from 3.25 to 3.34a would not work. I had to do it maually using a blank DVD/CD-ROM. The instructions for updating the firmware via the network is NOT noted in the update instructions on Pioneer's website. No one seems to have an answer for this issue. I was not able to get a hold of Pioneer's tech support for answers to these issues.

ISSUE #1 - WHY THIS PLAYER WOULD NOT DO A FIRMWARE UPDATE VIA THE MENU?

When I tried the update using the menu, it stated that the software was currently up to date. When I checked and verified the version on the player it showed 3.25 as the current version.

ISSUE #2 - WHY WOULD BD-LIVE NOT WORK WITH FIRMWARE VERSION 3.25?

Does anyone else have answers to these questions?.

It depends which movie you are trying to watch with BD-Live content, not all movies work properly with BD-Live while some work fine.

did you get the Sd memory card for it? I remember having to reformat it when I was having problems with some of the bdlive stuff. once I did that.. then it worked fine.
