Default Petition for Warner France

EDIT : This petition is now fully translated in english and aimed at Warner Bros. Distributors Limited, based in London - assuming that they are taking decisions for whole european territories.

Petition is here.

If an administrator would be kind enough to change the title of this thread to "Petition for Warner Bros. Distributors Limited" - it better reflects the new direction of this petition as it is not limited to France anymore.
Thanks !

Original thread message :
Quote:
If you are a Blu-ray Disc user living in France (or even other non-english speaking country) you may find this petition of interest :

Pour que Warner utilise du DTS-HD Master Audio sur ses Blu-ray Disc

As a fact, Blu-ray Discs made by Warner for France and other countries are made 'all-in one' to minimise production costs and include several audio versions and subtitles.
To keep all this content on one disk, the use of compressed audio is inevitable and, for many consumers, inacceptable because you want the best out of your expensive discs and not the same Dolby Digital as on your regular DVDs.

Rarely did Warner consider the use of Lossless audio - and even more rarely the use of DTS-HD Master Audio that is most appreciated by home-cinephiles.

So, even if you are not in France but concerned about this issue please sign and leave a comment to Warner. And share this link.

Thanks for your time and for this forum space.

Best,

EricP

PS: Petition is in french but I'm considering translating it in english to reach larger audience. Feel free to suggest new text as this is not my mother language.
