I just got a 2nd PS3 for Kids bedroom and need to get a TV to go along with it. They will watch movies, blu-ray, and play games on the PS3 on it. Doesn't have to be home theater size/quality which is why I am trying to get the best I can for $500 or less.
Anyone have some recommended budget Panels for Games/Movies in a bedroom? Thanks |

What size are you looking for? I am thinking 32 is the biggest you will get for under 500.

Yeah.. I would like at least 32.. Was eyeballing a 32" Panasonic 720p for $400... not so sure I need 1080p but 1080p would be nicer. I guess I might go little higher than $500 if needed but yeah was thinking 32-37" hopefully 1080p that has good viewing angles. It won't be the main TV.. I have a 1080p 52" TV in living room. This is just for the kids to watch TV and play PS3 in their bedroom.

If you are willing to buy online, I hear good things about these two models.
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-VIERA-TC-L32S1-32-Inch-1080p/dp/B001U3YK48/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1254724026&sr =8-4 Of course you could get the 720p version of either of these. I plan on buying the LG within the next few weeks to use for a computer monitor/2nd display in the living room. Also, if its for the kids and you want to save some cash, my current TV in my bedroom is the latest 720p vizio, picked it up from dell for about 370 or so shipped. Its a pretty decent television for the price, and I am buying a 42" panny plasma to replace that one this week or next week and putting that one into my daughters room, she is pretty excited about that. |

My father just bought the cheap Best Buy brand(Dynex I think) 42" 1080P tv. It cost him $620 CANADIAN!
It actually looks nice. I got some calibration settings from people online and it looks really great for the price. I was actually quite impressed. |

The problem with brands like dynex and insignia from best buy is I hear it is really hard to get service if anything happens to it, also I dont think they last too long. If I were gonna get a cheaper brand I would deffinately get vizio over any of the other cheap brands.
