Has anyone used a TV volume regulator with their blu-ray player. For those who don't know about it, it lowers the volume for loud scenes and raises the volume for quiet scenes. I am considering getting one one because of neighbour issues.
For those who have a TV volume regulator, are there any drawbacks to having it? For example extra noise introduced? Also, I notice they use RCA cables. My JVC-RS1 projector, BDP1200 blu-ray player, Yamaha HTR-6090 receiver are all connected by HDMI. Whenever I use anything other than HDMI I worry about loss of quality of sound and picture. |
