Default BDP-N460 vs. BDP-S560??

Is there a big difference between the bpd-n460 and BDPS560? Was looking at buying the 460 but can get a deal on the S560

The S560 has wireless network ability.

The N460 does not - it only has a hardwire ethernet port.

However, the N460 has access to streaming media. The S560 is only a profile 2.0 player that just happens to have wireless networking built in.

What does that translate into layman's terms?

The N460 will be able to stream Netflix Movies (not available at this time) and Slacker audio, which may be to an advantage to some. The S560 can't do this.

The S560 has wireless capability which may be a plus to some.

Analog outs have been removed from the 560 as well and IMO this makes the N460 much more attractive because of the price and extra features. The N460 does not have analog outs but the ability to Stream Media is a huge plus if you ask me.

I just bought the 460 and it works very well so far...just wired it up and the streaming stuff is actually pretty nice...unless you can get a great deal for the 560 or absolutely need the wireless I'd go with the 460

Default It is SIMPLE

If you want Wi-Fi and do NOT want NETWORKING (Netflix, etc.) go with the 560. If you want to NETWORK and do not need Wi-Fi, get the N460.
